Loide Uushona
Founder / Managing Director
Ms Loide Uushona is a co-founder and the Managing Director of ProQuest Diagnostic Laboratories. She is a Medical Laboratory Scientist and holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from NUST. She is registered with the Health Professions Council of Namibia in both Clinical Pathology and Blood Transfusion. Ms Uushona has over 10 years of experience in the Medical Laboratory Science field, across the public and private sectors, ranging from clinical pathology and blood transfusion to training. Her expertise includes operations management, blood product management, staff management, procurement, training, and stakeholder engagement. She has served as President of the Namibian Association of Medical Laboratory Sciences and currently serves on the AHPCNA Professional Committee on Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science and related professions.
Pendapala Shiyuka
Founder / Technical Director, Quality Assurance & Support Services
Mr Pendapala Shiyuka, a co-founder and Technical Director of ProQuest Diagnostic Laboratories, holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from NUST. He is registered with the Health Professions Council of Namibia in Clinical Pathology. Mr Shiyuka has over 10 years of working experience across the public and private sectors, with added experience providing quality assurance support to HIV/AIDS programmes in the country. This experience gives him a vast understanding of quality, health and safety systems.
